Also called pricing sheet
A rate card is a creator's published or shared price list for sponsored work, broken down by deliverable.
A rate card converts every negotiation from "what is your budget" into "here is what things cost". That reframing alone tends to raise outcomes, because the first question invites the brand to anchor low and the second makes them react to your number.
Rates are usually built per deliverable — a feed post, a story sequence, a short-form video, a newsletter mention — with add-ons priced separately: usage rights, exclusivity, extra revisions, rush turnaround. Bundling those into one figure means giving them away.
Rate cards should be revised on a schedule rather than per deal. Prices that move per conversation are read as negotiable in both directions.
In practice
Base video €900, plus €600 for 90 days of paid usage, plus €400 for three-month category exclusivity — three lines, three decisions for the brand.
Common mistake
Quoting one all-inclusive price. It hides the expensive parts, and brands then expect them free on the next deal.
