A booking page lets someone choose a time from your real availability and confirm it themselves, without an exchange of messages.
The mechanism replaces negotiation with selection. Instead of proposing times and waiting, you publish rules — working hours, session lengths, buffers, notice periods — and the page enforces them. The saving is not only the messages; it is the elapsed days between the first message and a confirmed slot, during which intent decays.
Calendar synchronisation is what makes it trustworthy. A page offering a slot you no longer have is worse than no page at all, so two-way sync with the calendar you actually live in is the feature that matters most.
Payment at booking changes behaviour. Free bookings no-show at rates that paid bookings do not approach.

Publishing every open hour. Unbounded availability reads as low demand and leaves no room between sessions.
